On March 20^th, 2012 Secretary of Labor, Hilda Solis and Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health, Dr. David Michaels announced a final rule regarding the updating OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard. The revisions were implemented in part as a way to align with the United Nations’ Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals.

Remember that February 1 is the deadline for completion of your annual summary log, the OSHA 300A.  This summary log is to be posted in your workplace from February 1 through April 30 each year.    For more information, please give us a call or see the following links at OSHA’s Website:
